Overview: We are seeking an experienced Financial Project Manager to lead and manage key financial projects within our organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the implementation, upgrade, or optimization of Financials, ensuring the projects align with organizational goals and are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PeopleSoft Financials, project management, and finance transformation, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals. Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules.
• Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and external vendors to execute PeopleSoft Financials projects effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, including finance leaders, executive management, and external partners, to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• PeopleSoft Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials to drive project success, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system functionality.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
• Budget Management: Oversee project budget and financials, ensuring projects stay within approved funding limits.
• Status Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management, including status reports, KPIs, and project milestone tracking.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement best practices and process improvements related to PeopleSoft Financials to drive operational efficiencies.
