Description

We are seeking a skilled Varicent Developer to design, implement, and maintain incentive compensation management (ICM) solutions using Varicent (formerly IBM Cognos ICM). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, HR, and Finance to ensure accurate and timely sales compensation calculations and reporting. The ideal candidate has experience in Varicent configuration, workflow creation, and understands sales operations or financial incentive structures.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Varicent ICM solutions including rule logic, calculations, workflows, and reports.
• Configure compensation plans, quotas, and crediting rules within Varicent.
• Create and manage data integration processes between Varicent and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional Varicent models.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support compensation analytics.
• Perform data analysis, validations, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy in incentive compensation processing.
• Provide end-user support and training for the Varicent platform.
• Monitor performance and maintain data security and integrity in the system.
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing efforts.
